Dear Elana,

Words cannot express what all of us have been going through this past week, I want to say thank you for your e-mails and kind words that have helped me as I'm sure everyone else continue through this horrible time. I feel like it was just yesterday that Yochai brought me into the office a little over 2 months ago, so excited about the program that I couldn't even get a word in. If it weren't for him, I wouldn't have even been in
Israel in December. I still can't imagine coming to Israel and him not being there taking it upon himself to always check up on me and make sure I'm ok. I can't help but smile when I think of all the times I answered my cell phone to hear "gooody" coming from the other end of the line. I will be putting together whatever pictures I have and letters for you to send to his family, I will try to send them by
e-mail so that they can reach you faster.

We have been planning here to raise money for an ambulance in Yochai's name, after reading what you just wrote about the "mercaz hadracha" I thought it was an incredibly touching and personal way to pay tribute to Yochai and his dedication to the program. I will speak to the aliyah center here again about it. I spoke with Yehuda after the funeral as well as his cousin who told me that before leaving on miluim Yochai told his supervisor at mada not to forget about the "mitnadvei chul", and how important is was that we
keep coming.

I wanted to let you know that I will be coming to Israel again this summer, and I wanted to offer my time and help in any way I can. If you need me to help in terms of programming, working with the new volunteers, coordinating, being a contact # in
Israel as an official or unofficial position it would be my pleasure and honor to help with the program in any way I can. Please don't hesitate to take me up on my offer.
I will be in contact with you, keeping you updated on what is going on here and encouraging people here to send you pictures and letters.

Thank you again for your kind words,
Judy Zlotnick
