In July, I am planning to cycle from Prague to the holocaust museum in Berlin via Thereizensdadt. Then in Berlin, meet a group from world Jewish relief and cycle with them to Auschwitz and Krakow where there will be a ceremony and I will take a Yarzheit candle for Yochai. I have set a fundraising target of £3000 for the mercaz hadracha but need help with publicity and sponsorship. If you can help me and send the letter below to as many people as possible it would really help the cause. To whom it may concern,

My mentor, teacher and friend, Yochai Porat, an integral member of the Israeli ambulance service Magen David Adom, was recently shot and killed as another victim of the protracted struggle for peace in the Middle East.

In aid of this volatile region and in memory of Yochai, attempts are to be made to raise money for Magen David Adom and a teaching centre in his name. In July, I intend to cycle 800km from Prague to Auschwitz and Krakow via Thereizenstadt and the Holocaust Museum in Berlin. It is imperative that I
raise as much awareness and finances as possible to support this initiative.

This letter is an attempt to secure any support available from benevolent individuals who share a concern over the fragile nature of the Middle East crisis and the need to find tangible and positive ways of alleviating the struggle and pain. Any help in cultivating funds or contributions that could be made would be of considerable benefit.
