I really can not believe the news. I have some photos of me and Yochai and I look at them and just can not believe it. He really was a special person. Eli, Sol, Debbie and Lauren are all in shock as well. Yocheved Marcus called me before and she was so emotional on the phone. I have also received so
many emails telling me about the news from people from our group. Everyone seems to be affected. Yochai really touched alot of people. We are all totally behind anything you need or any idea that you have. I am going to start writing something now, and I will get the others to do the same. Also, do you want some photos that we have of us together? We can scan them and send them to you.
Also, I hope you are ok. Really I am thinking of you and Yochai's family.

Hi Elana,
Just one more thing. I would like to name the MDA program that we are trying to set up for Australians to begin around December after Yochai. We could call it the Porat Program, or something like that so that everyone knows about him. I really want him to be remembered and I think this could be a nice way. What do you think about the idea?
Also, I heard that the funeral is at 4.00pm Israeli time which is just about now (1.00am) Australian time. I know it may sound stupid, but I am sitting now and just thinking about Yochai and everything that he taught me.
It really is so shocking.
